NBA's Thunder cut Tyty Washington Jr. and Usman Garuba without playing a single game
According to reporters Michael Scotto and Marc J. Spears, the Thunder have waived Tyty Washington Jr. and Usman Garuba, who were acquired in a trade with the Hawks during the offseason. Both players were previously with the Rockets last season. In the 2022-23 season, Usman Garuba played 75 games for the Rockets, averaging 3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game. Tyty Washington Jr. played 31 games for the Rockets last season, averaging 4.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
